Kyle Sullivan and other All That cast members, including Giovonnie Samuels and Katrina Johnson, discuss their experiences on the sets of popular Nickelodeon shows from the 2000s such as Drake & Josh, The Amanda Show, iCarly, Victorious, Sam & Cat, and Zoey 101, which Schneider created and produced, in a four-part Investigation Discovery series that aired on Max on March 16 and 17. The docuseries uncovers numerous inappropriate events from various Schneider performances, including instances where child actors were placed in compromising positions and made inappropriate jokes for children. One of the examples provided to Marc Summers, the former host of a popular Nickelodeon show called Double Dare, is Ariana Grande playing Cat Valentine (a character in Victorious and Sam & Cat) inappropriately.

Schneider posted a 19-minute video on his YouTube account on Tuesday, featuring an interview with BooG!E, who portrayed T-Bo on iCarly, to discuss his reaction to the series, which he described as “difficult” to watch. According to Schneider’s agent, the interview took place after BooG!E viewed the docuseries and sought to speak with the producer.

“I’m confronting my old behaviors, some of which are embarrassing that I regret. “I definitely owe some people a pretty strong apology,” Schneider admits in the video.

Schneider’s agent stated in an email to TIME that “Dan apologizes, expresses regret and embarrassment, and holds himself accountable for his previous behavior.” According to the statement, Schneider admits that he should have “never asked for massages” and “crossed a line in the writers’ room with the jokes that he told and the pranks that he pulled.”

“Dan is now asking for some of his old jokes to be removed from reruns of his old shows,” the spokesman states in the statement. “Dan absolutely never intended for any of those jokes that are now being seen as sexualized content to be anything other than funny for kids.”

Schneider adds that while watching the series, he “could see the hurt in some people’s eyes” and it made him “feel awful, regretful, and sorry.” He wishes he could go back in time and “just do a better job and never, ever feel like it was okay to be an asshole to anyone, ever.” He also addressed actor Drake Bell’s claim in the series that he was sexually attacked by former Nickelodeon dialect coach Brian Peck, stating that Bell confided in him at the time and informed him what happened.

Schneider claims that he was “there for these young actors often when nobody else was” and denies that any of his contacts with them were inappropriate, according to the statement. “It is not accurate.” It is just not true to infer that his relationship with any of the performers was inappropriate.
