A passing truck driver saw a child crawling in the grass on the side of an ever-busy highway. This ended the days-long search for the missing child in Louisiana.

The body of the girl’s four-year-old brother was found in a nearby pond on July 8.
Since then, the Kalkashiu police have been searching for the child.
The press release issued by the police on the same day caused an uproar in the local media. That led to the arrest of the girls’ mother, Alia Jack, hundreds of miles away in Mississippi.
She is currently in the Meridian prison in Mississippi. She will be turned over to Louisiana police on charges of not reporting her missing children.
Additional charges are likely to be filed against her, Guillory said.
The child was taken to the hospital for treatment and then handed over to Child Protective Services on Wednesday.
“We call that little girl a miracle baby,” said Sheriff Guillory.
“His body was full of bite marks. But he is fine. Very happy,” said Guillory.
Sheriff mentioned that the weather is also suitable for that.
“The sun didn’t come out and the weather didn’t warm up,” he said, referring to extreme temperatures in Louisiana.
“There is some impact of the Beryl storm.
As the weather was cloudy, the child’s body did not face any problems with the weather, which is to some extent fortunate.
